Training on making snacks for the TJSL Phapros Dunia Snack Bongsari beneficiary group.
On Thursday, August 11th, 2022, TJLS (Corporate Social Responsibility and Environment) Phapros held a training event on making snacks at the Posyandu of RW II in Bongsari Village, West Semarang District. This activity is a program initiated by Phapros to improve the economy of the surrounding community.
The training was attended by 10 members of the UPPKS (Family Welfare Improvement Effort) and Griya Kopimi (Independent Cooperative Integrity Movement) groups who were not otherwise occupied and needed assistance. These 10 members were united in the "Dunia Snack Bongsari" group, which is under the guidance of TJSL Phapros. The event began with a prayer followed by an opening from TJSL Phapros and a speech from Mrs. Srikayan, the group's leader. The members were very grateful and enthusiastic about this program.
During the training, TJSL Phapros provided 2 units of snack-making equipment, aprons, and snack-making ingredients. The material was presented by Mrs. Ari Rusdhi from the UPPKS group, which covered the process of making meat floss-filled dumplings and onion sticks, as well as sales calculations. This training resulted in the production of 16 plastic packages (size 16x24) of onion sticks, each weighing 150 grams, and 20 plastic packages (size 12x20) of meat floss-filled dumplings, each weighing 100 grams.
TJSL Phapros also provided a marketing platform for the produced snacks at the Menjangan Enam Cooperative Store located at the Phapros Simongan and Imam Bonjol offices. It is hoped that this training will increase the knowledge and skills of housewives in snack processing, which can contribute to the improvement of household economies.
