Synergizing between SOEs, Phapros to initiate joint cooperation alongside ASDP
Jakarta, 8 Desember 2021 – PT Phapros Tbk continues to aggressively expand in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. One of the expansions carried out was by signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) located at the head office of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) in Jakarta.
Marketing Director of Phapros, Tri Andayani said that the collaboration with ASDP was held to strengthen the synergy between BUMN companies in an effort to make the nation healthy.
"This synergy is very much needed by Phapros, by strengthening the cooperation between SOEs or SOE’s subsidiaries, this will open up wider business opportunities to help the government in making people healthy, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic as it is today," said the woman who is also known widely by her popular nickname, Anda.
Transformation efforts and synergies carried out within the extended family of SOEs are expected to further increase the contribution to the State. Based on data from the Ministry of SOEs of the Republic of Indonesia, the realization of net profit for all SOEs in the third quarter of 2021 reached Rp 61 trillion. This figure has multiplied 19 times compared to the same period in 2020, which was only Rp. 13 trillion due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This achievement, of course, cannot be separated from the various efforts of business model efficiency, business consolidation as well as transformation and innovation that have been developed in the work environment of SOEs.
Previously, at the end of November 2021, the company with ticker code PEHA, has also exported anti-tuberculosis drugs to Peru, South America. Although the total value is still below Rp 10 billion, Phapros' management believes that in the future the value will be higher in line with the tender project for the local government or other countries in the vicinity. With this effort to increase exports, in the next few years Phapros also targets the export contribution to be close to 10 percent of total revenue.
