Phapros Subsidiary Exporting Multivitamin to Afghanistan
Jakarta, February 9, 2022 - PT Lucas Djaja Group, a subsidiary of PT Phapros Tbk, exported Camvite Plus Syrup to Afghanistan at the end of January 2022.
Director of PT Lucas Djaja, Azrudyl Azrul Azwar or commonly known as Azrul, stated that they regularly export to Afghanistan. "The demand for multivitamins there is quite high, especially in winter between December and March. Therefore, to maintain the immune system of the people there, we sent 48,384 bottles of Camvite Plus Syrup or equivalent to IDR 500 million at the beginning of this year," he said.
Camvite Plus Syrup is an exported product that is a rebranding of a product called Calcivita syrup. There have been several requests to export Calcivita, and this current shipment is the first shipment with its new name, Camvite Plus Syrup.
Camvite Plus Syrup is a health supplement product that contains calcium and 9 vitamins, such as vitamin C, E, A, and B Complex vitamins that are beneficial for children's growth and maintaining the health condition of adults.
On the other hand, President Director of PT Phapros Tbk, Hadi Kardoko, stated that the total value of Phapros exports was still below IDR 20 billion throughout 2021. However, in the future, he is optimistic that the value could be larger, following demands or tenders from the local government.
"With this effort to increase exports, in the next few years, we also target export contributions to approach 10 percent of our total revenue," he added.
