Phapros & Puskesmas Ngemplak Simongan Collaboration: A Real Example of Free Health Check for Employees

As part of the 71st anniversary celebration of Phapros and in support of the Semarang City Government program, Phapros, through its CSR, organized a Free Health Check (CKG) for employees on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at the Avicena Building in the Simongan Factory. This event was held in collaboration with Puskesmas Ngemplak Simongan, which is part of Phapros' Ring I area.

This program is also part of the 478th Anniversary of Semarang City, initiated by the Semarang City Health Office, offering free CKG services to residents. The CKG program was launched on February 10, 2025, as a birthday gift from the government to the public, aimed at improving health quality and preventing diseases.

The Director General of Primary and Community Health, Dr. Maria Endang Sumiwi, stated that CKG is a preventive step against various diseases. "This program is expected to reach all segments of society, from infants to the elderly," Dr. Endang said in a press conference at the Ministry of Health in Jakarta on Friday (7/2).

The CKG check-up includes early detection to prevent high mortality rates from diseases that could actually be prevented. At Puskesmas, the service is targeted to 50 participants per day. Puskesmas Ngemplak provided Phapros employees with the opportunity to participate in this program.

A total of 50 Phapros employees underwent checks that included blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol (if indicated), dental health, and consultations with doctors. The service was supported by five medical staff members and two administrative personnel to ensure the smoothness and comfort of the process.

Interestingly, participants were automatically registered in the Satusehat Mobile app, so the results of their check-ups were stored as initial screening data for further medical follow-up.

This activity reaffirms Phapros' commitment not only to productivity but also to the health and welfare of its employees. It is hoped that similar programs will continue to ensure the creation of a healthy work environment.
