Blood Donation During the Covid-19 Pandemic

The Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in limited blood supplies for medical needs. The blood bags obtained from the blood donation process are expected to help PMI in Central Java to supply the availability of blood stock so that it can be utilized by people in need.

The Corporate Social Responsibility program of PT Phapros Tbk, in partnership with the Indonesian Red Cross Society (PMI) in Central Java, held a blood donation event at the Phapros office located in Kota Lama Semarang on Tuesday (16/6/20). This activity is also part of a series of activities celebrating the 66th anniversary of PT Phapros Tbk on June 21, 2020, which carries the theme "Together We Make Indonesia Healthier". This blood donation event is the second event held throughout 2020.

This regular blood donation activity is a form of concern for the health of employees as donors, and also helps to provide blood supplies to the PMI in Central Java.

Although held in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, the blood donation event still prioritizes health protocols in its implementation. Employees who became donors were enthusiastic about the activity. A total of 54 blood bags were obtained from the blood donation process that took place.
