Phapros Distributes Rp 370 Million in Partnership Fund to Support the MSME
PT Phapros Tbk, a subsidiary of PT Kimia Farma Tbk, has disbursed the first phase of partnership fund to small and medium enterprises on Thursday (25/2) in the operational area of its subsidiary, PT Lucas Djaja Group, Bandung, West Java.
The partnership fund distribution program is a form of Phapros' commitment to develop the abilities of small businesses to be more independent, and to be able to contribute to economic growth so that a sustainable development and massive expansion of employment opportunities in the region will be created.
Financial Director of Phapros, Heru Marsono, who was present at the disbursement of the partnership fund, said that with the implementation of this program, Phapros hopes that SMEs will gain increased capabilities in market development and access to capital.
“The total funds disbursed in Phase I/2021 amounted to Rp. 370 million by attracting 15 partners who run businesses in Semarang, Central Java and Bandung, West Java. The partners have various businesses, ranging from food, grocery stores, electric welding workshops, clothing, to printing," said Heru Marsono.
Heru added that from 1997 to 2020 the total partnership funds disbursed were more than Rp 35 billion with 196 active partners.
"We hope the partnership program can help small and medium entrepreneurs to be more financially independent and help improve the economy of their respective regions, especially during this Covid-19 pandemic," he continued.
Phapros always facilitates partners by participating and contributing significantly to various MSME exhibition events, both at local and national levels, such as participation at the Inacraft exhibition once a year, including providing various types of training and comparative studies for MSME business development with the aim that partners is progressing exponentially.
