Strengthening Bonds of Friendship: PT Phapros Tbk Holds Halalbihalal Eid al-Fitr 1445 H and Joint Prayer.
Jakarta, April 26, 2024 - Joy and intimacy enveloped the Meeting Room at the PT Phapros Tbk Headquarters. In simplicity, Phapros held the Eid al-Fitr 1445 H Halalbihalal and Joint Prayer. This event was attended both online and offline by Phaproser from across Indonesia.
The series of events began with the recitation of the Qur'an beautifully rendered by Muhammad Safii Dzuhri, bringing calmness and blessings into the room.
It was followed by welcoming remarks from the Board of Directors delivered by Acting President Director of Phapros, Mrs. Ida Rahmi Kurniasih. In her speech, she conveyed that this was a moment to strengthen friendship. She also urged everyone to uphold trustworthiness in their work, so that they could grow better than before. Quoting the earlier recitation from the Qur'an by Safii Dzuhri about helping each other in goodness, she invited everyone to collaborate once again in continuing Phapros' business with solidarity and the best contributions from all Phapros individuals - those who are already good should become even better, those who are not good enough should improve, and those who are lacking should strive for improvement.
Ustadz Tatan Ahmad Santana also accompanied Phapros individuals and delivered a very soothing sermon. He discussed the uniqueness in how Allah SWT commands fasting. Linguistically, when Allah obliges us to perform fasting, He does not use the words 'mandatory' or 'obligatory'. Actually, Allah could have used either of these words, but the intention is to make it obligatory. So, the phrasing could be "yaa ayyuhalladziina aamanu wujiba ‘alaikumu shiyam" or "yaa ayyuhalladziina aamanu furidho ‘alaikumu shiyam". Instead, Allah uses the word "kutiba" which is derived from "kataba" meaning not only obliging but also writing it down, so just as we write, we also inscribe our good deeds. Writing is a creative process performed by humans, connecting letters to form words, words to form sentences, sentences to form paragraphs, paragraphs to form coherent discourse. So, Allah uses the word "kutiba" so that all the goodness that we usually do in the month of Ramadan is connected to the months outside of the holy month of Ramadan.
Additionally, Ustadz Tatan conveyed that the changes we face now are tests. What needs to be emphasized is that a test is something that, from our perspective, can be either good or bad. It is certain from the 6236 verses of the Quran that Allah never mentions the name of a person who is tested with evil and then fails. Allah rather mentions those who are tested with goodness and then fail, so in the Quran we know Pharaoh who was tested with political power, Qorun tested with financial power, and then Haman tested with intellectual power; all three failed when tested with goodness.
Then, how should we react when tested?
We always recite the following verse from the Qur'an.
It means: "You alone we worship, and You alone we ask for help." (Qur'an, Al-Fatihah: 5)
In addition,
It means: "Seek help through patience and prayer." (Qur'an, Al-Baqarah: 5)
Patience means accepting Allah's decree by continuously striving for betterment.
Now, how do we face trials? We must Unite. The Prophet said "Allah's hand is with the group", meaning Allah's help is with those who gather. The group is Harmony, Synergy, and Collaboration.
Help will come if we do the following:
Ta'aruf - getting to know each other
Tafahum - understanding each other
Takliful Qulub - Unity
Taraahum - Loving each other
Ta'awun - Helping each other
It means: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression." (Qur'an, Al-Ma'idah: 2)
If Ta'aruf, Tafahum. Takliful qulub, and Taraahum are good, then we will be accustomed to helping each other to achieve company targets.
Ustadz Tatan ended the sermon with a Joint Prayer.
During the month of Ramadan 1445 H, Phapros also held Ramadan Sermons, "A Day in My Life" Video Competitions, and Religious Song Singing Competitions. In this Halalbihalal moment, Phapros announced 15 winners of the Ramadan Sermon appreciation prizes, 2 winners of the "A Day in My Life" Video Competition, and 3 winners of the Religious Song Singing Competition.
Not forgetting, Kahoot Games and door prize distributions added to the liveliness of the event. Laughter and joy filled the room throughout the event.
Thus, the Eid al-Fitr 1445 H Halalbihalal and Joint Prayer event became a warm and memorable moment for Phapros individuals to strengthen bonds of friendship and boost the spirit of togetherness among all Phaproser. May this spirit continue to burn brightly and color every step we take towards success together. Let's rise, WE CAN!
