Ruang Belajar Asa Cendekia: Phapros, PNM Semarang and PKBM Al Huda Expand Access to Education
Amid rapid digital development, access to education remains a challenge for some communities, including residents of Sidorejo Village, Sayung District, Demak Regency. This coastal community continues to face limitations in educational facilities and opportunities.
Responding to these conditions, PT Phapros Tbk, together with PT Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM) Semarang Branch and PKBM Al Huda, established Ruang Belajar Asa Cendekia through a Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program in Sidorejo Village.
The learning space provides access to equivalency education through Packages A, B, and C, offering an opportunity for community members who previously could not complete formal education to continue learning.
Opening a Second Chance Through Education
Ruang Belajar Asa Cendekia was officially inaugurated on Friday, July 24, 2026. The event was attended by representatives of PNM, Phapros, the Demak Regency Education and Culture Office, students, and teachers from PKBM Al Huda. The inauguration reflected cooperation among different parties to expand local learning opportunities.
Not Merely a Place, but a Source of Hope
The presence of Ruang Belajar Asa Cendekia brings hope that education can become more accessible in everyday life for the residents of Sidorejo Village.
The program is designed to run for three years, with the aim of supporting students through graduation, particularly for Packages B and C. Periodic assistance will also be provided through scholarships and other forms of educational support.
This approach underscores that supporting education does not end with providing facilities. The program is intended to ensure that learners receive guidance and assistance throughout their studies.
Collaboration for Sustainable Impact
The partnership between PT Phapros Tbk, PNM Semarang, and PKBM Al Huda demonstrates that educational support extends beyond facilities to include mentorship and continuity in the learning process.
Through collaboration, education is not simply a way to obtain a qualification; it can also help improve people's abilities, independence, and well-being.
Ruang Belajar Asa Cendekia is therefore more than a learning venue. It is a space where hope can grow, opening opportunities, building independence, and helping communities prepare for a better future.
