Provision of PPE Assistance to the Community Through the Indonesian Inter-Village Radio (RAPI) in the Banyumas Region 08.
The high number of Covid-19 cases has made the virus, which has been declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO), a common enemy that must be fought by the public together.
In response to this, PT Phapros, Tbk continues to make maximum contributions to the efforts to combat the spread of the Covid-19 outbreak, including collaborating with external parties. This time, Phapros collaborated with the Indonesian Inter-Village Radio (RAPI) of Region 08 Banyumas, to distribute Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to the surrounding community of RAPI Region 08 Banyumas.
The PPE donations included surgical masks, face shields, latex gloves, electric disinfectant sprayers, and hazmat suits. Through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Phapros directly delivered the donations on July 2, 2020 to the RAPI Region 08 Banyumas Secretariat located in Purwokerto. The donations were received by Mr. F. Widjatmoko, who is a National Executive of RAPI residing in Purwokerto.
RAPI is a community organization with wide social access and solid capacity throughout Indonesia, both through direct community activities and radio broadcasts through their transmitters. By building a collaborative relationship, it is hoped that the aid provided by Phapros can benefit a wider range of the community. Thus, the efforts to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 outbreak can touch deeper layers of the community.
