Phapros Wins Two Awards at OSH Asia’s Summit 2025

PT Phapros Tbk once again achieved success by winning two awards at the OSH Asia’s Summit 2025. These awards are a clear testament to the company’s success in implementing occupational safety and health (OSH) programs.

The first award, "The Best Process Safety Management Excellence Company for Safety Management Fast Learning," was given to PT Phapros Tbk.
In addition, the Acting President Director of PT Phapros Tbk, Mrs. Ida Rahmi Kurniasih, was also named "The Best CEO Committed to OSH Culture." The winners were objectively and independently judged by a credible panel of judges. The judging took place on August 6, 2025, with the panel consisting of Mr. Dr. Ir. Supandi Syarwan, CIRM, and Mr. Muhammad Dawaman, M.K.K.K.

The assessment criteria included several important aspects:

  • The level of implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health Management System (SMK3).

  • Innovation and creativity in OSH implementation.

  • Evidence of productivity improvement as a result of SMK3 implementation.

  • Participation and training provided to human resources.

  • Impact on OSH culture in the workplace environment.

OSH International Summit Highlights in Bali

As a follow-up, PT Phapros Tbk was invited to attend the OSH Asia’s Summit 2025 event held from August 27 to 28, 2025, at Prama Hotel - Sanur, Bali. The event was an important forum for OSH professionals to share insights. The first day was opened with speeches from the organizing chairwoman Mrs. Maya Juliati, Founder of First Indonesia Magazine, and Mr. Dr. Ir. Supandi Syarwan, CIRM, Chairman of the OSH Asia’s Summit 2025 Jury Board. There were 71 participants representing 50 companies. The plenary session featured OSH experts including Dr. Atsuko Nakai Ph.D from MCC Hiroshima Plant, Japan, and Mr. Riri Satria, Special Staff to the Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs (Menko Polkam RI) focusing on cybersecurity, digital technology, and economy.

The second day continued with international discussions featuring speakers from various sectors including Rector of Balikpapan University Dr. Ir. Isradi Zainal and international OSH expert Prof. Dr. Abdul Mutalib Bin Leman from UTHM, Malaysia.

The summit’s closing night included a Gala Dinner and award ceremony. The event was enlivened by a Fire Dance performance as the opening. The keynote speech was delivered by the Head of the Bali Provincial Manpower Office Mr. Ir. Ida Bagus Setiawan. The event concluded with an award presentation honoring all winners of OSH Asia’s Summit 2025.
