Phapros Strengthens Synergy with the Semarang City Government to Support Investment Climate and Sustainable Development

PT Phapros Tbk, together with the Simongan Area Companies Association, attended an audience with the Mayor of Semarang, Dr. Agustina Wilujeng Pramestuti, S.S., M.M., on Thursday, July 16, 2026, held in the Mayor's Meeting Room at Semarang City Hall.

The audience discussed a proposal to review Semarang City Regional Regulation Number 5 of 2021 concerning Amendments to the Regional Spatial Plan (RTRW), particularly regarding the designation of the Simongan Area as a Limited Industrial Zone, whose validity period will expire in 2031.

In addition to PT Phapros Tbk, the meeting was attended by member companies of the Simongan Companies Association—namely Kimia Farma, ISTW, Semarang Makmur, Kurnia Jati, and Intrasal—as well as Semarang City Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) Member, Mr. Michael, S.Kom. Officials from Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) and related agencies were also present, including the Department of Spatial Planning, Disperkim (Housing and Settlement Area Department), Department of Environment, Department of Transportation, and Department of Public Works.

During the meeting, the Mayor of Semarang expressed support for the aspirations presented by the Simongan Companies Association and stated a commitment to review the validity period of the Regional Regulation. This support was accompanied by several key points, including:

• Companies will not conduct large-scale building or factory expansions in the area.

• Actively participate alongside the Semarang City Government in traffic congestion and flood mitigation efforts in the Simongan area.

• Fulfill all operational requirements and permits in accordance with applicable regulations.

• Support the Waras Ekonomi (Economic Wellness) Program as part of strengthening and empowering Semarang City MSMEs.
