ISO/IEC 17025 Surveillance Audit II: Calibration Laboratory Quality Commitment Continuously Maintained

On November 17, 2025, the calibration laboratory of PT Phapros Tbk conducted the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Surveillance Audit II, performed by the National Accreditation Committee (KAN).

This audit is part of the laboratory accreditation cycle aimed at ensuring that the quality management system and laboratory technical competence continue to be implemented consistently and in accordance with international standards.

Aspects within ISO/IEC 17025:2017 consist of several main parts covering general requirements, structural requirements, resource requirements, process requirements, and management system requirements.

This Surveillance Audit II was carried out by three assessors from KAN, namely Gangsar Sulistyarto as Lead Assessor, Apik Rusdiarna Indra Praja as Assessor, and Dani Tri Sutrisno Kurniawan as Technical Expert.

The calibration laboratory team involved in the audit execution included Aries Badrus Sholeh as Quality Manager, Aditya Tanjung Pramana as Technical Manager, Nowo Putro Soleh as Technical Supervisor, and Calibration Technicians (Mohamad Aji, Hartomo Jati, Pieters Hernanda, Akhmad Rifqi Zaky, Taufiq Firmansjah) as well as related departments.

Aspects reviewed in this Surveillance Audit II included internal audit implementation, management review, personnel competence, validity of test results, evaluation of measurement uncertainty, facility conditions, equipment, result reporting, and the suitability of work activities with work instructions.

During the audit process, the calibration laboratory team demonstrated good cooperation and readiness in answering all questions and clarifications from the assessors.

The audit activity proceeded smoothly according to the agenda and was constructive. Several observations and improvement recommendations provided became valuable evaluation material for the laboratory to continue improving testing service quality.

Furthermore, the calibration laboratory is given a maximum of 2 months after the audit implementation to follow up on improvement recommendations, and evidence of the follow-up will be verified by the assessors via the KAN website.

The positive results of this audit demonstrate the strong commitment of the entire team in maintaining the integrity, precision, and reliability of the test results produced.

It is hoped that the holding of this Surveillance Audit II is not just an accreditation obligation, but also an important momentum to affirm the culture of quality in every line of calibration laboratory activities.

With the spirit of continuous improvement, the laboratory is committed to continuing to provide the best service for all partners and customers.

The calibration laboratory can continue to maintain customer trust and strengthen its position as a competent, professional, and internationally standardized calibration laboratory.
