Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Goes to School
TJSL Phapros is always committed to aligning the company's vision and mission with employee health, one of which is by holding blood donation activities held 3 times a year. Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Ibu Kartini Junior High School, for the first time TJSL collaborated with PMI Semarang City to hold PMI Goes To School activities. This activity aims to educate students about the importance of blood donation, that blood donation is not a scary thing and is even very beneficial for the health of the body if you donate regularly, besides the education provided can foster a sense of humanitarian solidarity from an early age.
A total of 36 selected students had the opportunity to participate in blood donor education. Beginning with the introduction of PT Phapros Tbk by TJSL Manager Asyera Dewi Barita, she also introduced multivitamin products that can be consumed starting from adolescence such as Livron B.plex and Blood Addition Tablets which are efficacious in forming red blood cells, especially for young women who are prone to anemia. Followed by PMI who explained the requirements to become a donor and the health benefits obtained if you regularly donate blood. The students were also given the opportunity to see the blood donation process firsthand.
A total of 45 people from both Phapros employees and Ibu Kartini Junior High School teachers successfully donated blood. Similarly, the blood donation event held on October 21, 2024 at the Simongan Factory saw 62 successful participants.
At the last blood donation stage in 2024, TJSL also provided souvenirs for all participants who successfully donated their blood without exception. It is hoped that this routine blood donation activity can continue to be organized with the support of various parties in order to meet the availability of blood stocks at PMI Semarang City.
