Saturday, August 17, 2025—With a burning spirit of struggle and heartfelt gratitude for the blessing of sovereignty from Almighty God, PT Phapros Tbk and all its employees celebrated the 80th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia. The celebration featured various activities culminating in a flag ceremony, serving as both an act of respect and a sincere prayer for the nation’s predecessors who fought tirelessly for independence.
During the ceremony, awards were also presented to retired employees, those who had served for 25 years, and scholarship recipients. This historic moment reaffirmed our commitment as the nation’s successors to carry forward the spirit of “Unity and Sovereignty for a Prosperous People and an Advanced Indonesia.” These values of independence and togetherness remain deeply relevant today, reflecting Phapros’ commitment to contributing to the nation’s economic sovereignty by providing safe, effective, and innovative healthcare products for a more advanced and dignified Indonesia.

Phapros’ track record in upholding the nation’s independence stretches back over seven decades since the proclamation of independence. More than just a witness to history, the company has been an active participant in the nation’s journey. Its roots trace back to the Dutch colonial era, specifically in 1954, when the pharmaceutical factory formerly managed by N.V. Pharmaceutical Processing Industries was taken over by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia. Through the noble spirit of its founders and the dedication of its people, Phapros has helped safeguard national economic sovereignty, as evidenced by its resilience and consistent contribution even after four major economic crises.

The spirit of unity and perseverance once again shone through during the celebration of PT Phapros Tbk’s 71st Anniversary and Indonesia’s 80th Independence Day. The organizing committee’s activities were enthusiastically embraced by all Phapros employees. A variety of competitions were held to commemorate Indonesia’s independence, including Plogging, Mini Soccer, the 5R Competition, Clash of Champions (COC), and Phapros Marching Contest (PBB). Almost every division sent representatives, creating a lively and festive atmosphere that demonstrated the enduring spirit of unity among the Phapros team.

Among the highlights were the PBB and COC competitions, which brought unexpected surprises beyond the committee’s expectations. The participants’ enthusiasm was evident through their creativity—from unique costumes and accessories to bold chants, energetic movements, and well-crafted performances that delighted everyone present. Nearly all divisions took part, reinforcing that the Phapros spirit of togetherness remains strong and vibrant.

This is a true reflection that the company’s spirit is not only embodied in its achievements and work but also in its cultural values of teamwork and determination to continuously contribute to the nation’s economic resilience.

From Competitions to Art Performances: The Joy of Independence Day at PT Phapros Tbk Headquarters

In celebration of Indonesia’s 80th Independence Day, PT Phapros Tbk’s headquarters held its Independence Day festivities on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, on the 17th floor of Menara Rajawali, Jakarta. All employees participated with great enthusiasm—this year’s dress code theme was “National Heroes,” filling the office with colorful and creative costumes that honored Indonesia’s freedom fighters.

A Series of Enthusiastic Competitions

Festivities began in the morning with a range of unique Independence Day-themed games. In Word Build, each team had two minutes to form words from scrambled letters. Cantol Centing required participants to use a hooked helmet to latch onto objects as quickly as possible.
The audience cheered even louder during Lidah Neraka, a spicy noodle-eating contest, and Chicken Ball, where participants wore cone hats shaped like chicken beaks while competing for a ball.
In the Phapros Warrior challenge, three participants from each team competed in a rapid obstacle course including sack races, hands-free pants-wearing, and balloon-dribbling. The excitement peaked with Dancing Bee, where contestants wiggled energetically to shake balls out of boxes tied around their waists.
To close the event, the Desk Decorating Contest showcased each division’s creativity in designing independence-themed workspaces, making the office more festive and full of national pride.

Art Performances: Unlimited Creativity

Beyond the competitions, the celebration concluded with an Art Performance, featuring collaborative teams from various divisions showcasing dance, musical drama, and other acts performed with full dedication. This segment became a stage for employees to express hidden talents and creativity.

Best Costume of the Day

To complete the celebration, the committee also selected the Best Costume of the Day. One male and one female employee were chosen for wearing the most impressive costumes that best represented the spirit of Indonesian heroes.
