Commemorating the 50th anniversary of Antimo, Phapros provides educational assistance in Sabang Island, Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam.

Sabang, October 3, 2022 - In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of one of Indonesia's legendary products, Antimo, PT Phapros Tbk, which is also part of the state-owned pharmaceutical holding company, provided educational aid and school facilities to students of SD Negeri 17 Kota Sabang, Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam on Monday (3/10). Imelda Alini Pohan, Director of Marketing at PT Phapros Tbk, stated that the aid provided is a form of appreciation from Phapros to the community who has been loyal in using Antimo as a travel companion and to support the recovery of national tourism by helping accelerate the recovery of social conditions in the area, particularly in the field of education.

"The educational aid in the form of computer equipment provided today is a form of care and gratitude to the stakeholders who have played an important role in making Antimo one of the living legend brands in Indonesia to date. We also hope that tourism numbers will continue to increase after the pandemic, and of course, we at Phapros through our flagship product, Antimo Group, will continue to accompany the journey of Indonesian families," she said.

Imelda also stated that the educational activities carried out in commemoration of Antimo's 50th anniversary are in line with the three main focuses of the current Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises CSR program, namely education, environment, and SMEs. "In addition to Sabang, we will also carry out similar activities in 9 other cities in Indonesia's outermost regions," she explained.

On the other hand, the Head of the Sabang City Education and Culture Office, Desiana, S.Pd., M.Pd, who attended the event, appreciated the provision of educational aid and computer equipment by Phapros. "I would like to thank Phapros for initiating this event today. What Phapros has provided to SD Negeri 17 Kota Sabang is in line with the school's needs, as directed by the Ministry of Education and Culture that student competency tests at the end of the school year use the UTBK system, so hopefully, the provision of educational aid and computer equipment to this school can be useful," she said.

Echoing the sentiments of the Head of the Sabang City Education and Culture Office, the Head of SD Negeri 17 Kota Sabang, Halimatussakdiah, also appreciated the aid provided by the PEHA stock code issuer. "This is the first time our school has received educational aid and computer equipment, so this is a source of happiness for the students, teachers, and parents. Hopefully, this can be useful for the children here," she said.

Previously, as part of the 50th anniversary of Antimo, Phapros also provided financial assistance for the treatment of children with hydrocephalus through the Yayasan Wisma Kasih Bunda owned by one of Indonesia's designers, Anne Avantie, in Semarang.

At the age of 50, Antimo will continue to innovate and focus on line extensions for Antimo products, while still playing in the travel convenience category, given that the Antimo brand is quite strong in this category. In the future, Antimo will also strengthen its positioning among millennials who often travel as part of their lifestyle. Several other products in the same category are currently being developed internally and will soon be launched to meet the needs of Indonesian society.
