Phapros Present in Eastern Indonesia, Supporting Hydrocephalus Surgery and Stunting Prevention in North Halmahera

Tobelo, December 12, 2025 – Phapros reaffirms its commitment to supporting the improvement of public health quality in Eastern Indonesia.

Through the "Governor's Christmas Gift in the Month of Love" initiative, Phapros collaborated with RSUD Tobelo and the North Maluku Provincial Government to support hydrocephalus surgeries and stunting prevention programs held at RSUD Tobelo, North Halmahera Regency, on Friday (12/12/2025).

This activity serves as a tangible manifestation of the synergy between the Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) and Marketing teams of Phapros, alongside regional stakeholders, in delivering fast and targeted health interventions for the community, especially children requiring advanced medical treatment.

The event was attended in person by the Governor of North Maluku, Mrs. Sherly Tjoanda, officials from the North Maluku Provincial Government, RSUD Tobelo management, medical staff, and Phapros representatives. The presence of these stakeholders underscores a shared commitment to strengthening health services in 3T (Underdeveloped, Frontier, and Outermost) regions.

The hydrocephalus surgeries utilized a flagship domestic product, Inashunt, the result of a collaboration between Phapros and Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). The use of this medical device, a creation of the nation, not only supports the success of the medical procedures but is also part of the effort to drive national medical device self-reliance.

Through this cross-sector collaboration, Phapros strives to provide sustainable health solutions, not only through support for medical operations but also through education and prevention, particularly regarding stunting, which remains a health challenge in various regions.

This program is expected to be a first step for the beneficiary children to grow up healthier, happier, and have a better future.
