Phapros Amplifies the Importance of Holistic Health Through Support for the Film "Menuju Pelaminan"

JAKARTA, November 18, 2025 – PT Phapros Tbk (PEHA), a national pharmaceutical company known for its legendary product Antimo, has officially provided support for the latest Indonesian film titled Menuju Pelaminan (Heading to the Altar).

The film, which depicts social conditions and the challenges of cultural differences set against the backdrop of various journeys by land, sea, and air, is highly relevant to Antimo's positioning as a motion sickness medication with the tagline "Family Travel Companion."

Produced by Perum Produksi Film Negara (PFN), Menuju Pelaminan presents the story of two individuals from different cultural backgrounds—Javanese (specifically Yogyakarta) and Minang—along with the dynamics of two large families, illustrating the richness of Indonesian culture.

The Acting President Director of PT Phapros Tbk, Ida Rahmi Kurniasih, stated that this support is a tangible form of State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) synergy as well as Phapros' commitment to strengthening Indonesian culture and bringing the Antimo brand closer to society across generations.

"Phapros has a legendary product, Antimo. It is a medication for motion sickness with the tagline 'Family Travel Companion.' This film tells many stories about travel by land, sea, and air, so it aligns perfectly with the character of Antimo, which has accompanied the public on various types of journeys for decades," said Ida.

Ida also emphasized that this film is relevant not only from a cultural perspective but also in terms of emotion and togetherness. "Tonight, I want to invite friends from the ITB Alumni Association to gather, enjoy this excellent film, and feel the chemistry," she said during the film screening session.

This collaboration also serves as momentum for Phapros to emphasize an increasingly holistic approach to health. "As a pharmaceutical company, we believe that health is holistic. It is not just about treating sickness, but also preventing it and maintaining a balance between the physical, mental, and spiritual. A long-term study on happiness by Harvard researchers concluded that the most important factor in a happy life is the quality of our relationships. This means that if our social bonds (silaturahmi) are good, our health is also supported," revealed Ida.

"Approaching the upcoming Christmas and New Year holidays, we are ready to meet the demand for Antimo products to handle the long holiday and accompany family trips at the end of 2025. For information, Antimo sales this year grew by more than 50 percent compared to the same period in 2024. We are very grateful and thankful to all Antimo consumers for their high loyalty and trust all this time," said Ida, who was greeted enthusiastically by the participants of the Menuju Pelaminan screening last Friday.

In addition to strengthening aspects of health, culture, and inter-SOE synergy, this collaboration is also an adaptation strategy for the Antimo brand to remain relevant and easily customizable for the younger generation. "We want to keep the Antimo brand real, fun, and close to the community. Promotional methods of the past and present are certainly different, so collaborations like this are a form of our adaptation to various media platforms," concluded Ida.

Phapros hopes that the support for the film Menuju Pelaminan can make a positive contribution not only to the Indonesian film industry but also to the public in understanding the importance of comfortable travel, holistic health, and quality human relationships. This was proven by the audience's reaction, which was very positive during and after leaving the theater. The story is funny, full of warmth, and the conflicts resonate with the reality of our society.

Head of the Corporate Secretary Division of Produksi Film Negara (PFN), Ihsan Chairdiansyah, said that in the near future, PFN will rise as a National film and content facilitator company.

"We will produce heartwarming family-themed films as an offering to the people of Indonesia, so that in the future, people come to the cinema not just to watch horror movies, but also films that can be enjoyed by the whole family and are full of local Indonesian cultural elements. On this occasion, we are very proud to collaborate with Phapros and hope that the synergy going forward will be even stronger," concluded Ihsan.
