Kimia Farma Mengajar Comes to Semarang, Phapros Provides Health Education and Career Insights

Semarang, August 11, 2026 — PT Phapros Tbk participated in the Kimia Farma Group Mengajar educational program at SMK Theresiana Semarang and SMK Yayasan Pharmasi Semarang on Tuesday, August 11. The event was part of “Ruang Aksi Kimia Farma 2026,” a Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) initiative marking PT Kimia Farma Tbk’s 55th anniversary, with a focus on educational quality and health literacy among young people.

At SMK Theresiana Semarang, Phapros Production Director Ida Rahmi Kurniasih opened the program with guidance on building a successful future. Students were encouraged to recognize their potential, develop capabilities, and cultivate positive attitudes and habits for further education and employment. Ida expressed the hope that the session would offer new experiences and insights as students continued to learn and pursue their aspirations.

The program continued with health education on preventing anemia, stunting, and tuberculosis (TB), as well as DAGUSIBU, an Indonesian public education initiative on obtaining, using, storing, and disposing of medicines correctly. Phapros employees volunteered as speakers and facilitators, helping students understand disease prevention, health maintenance, and appropriate medicine use.

The Kimia Farma Mengajar initiative involved staff volunteers who served as resource persons and facilitators for the students’ health education sessions.

In addition to educational activities, Phapros donated health-related facilities to support schools’ healthcare needs. Students were enthusiastic, with one participant noting that the materials offered new perspectives on different diseases and how to prevent them.

At SMK Theresiana, Phapros’ Human Resources team also delivered a session on workplace culture. Students learned about values, attitudes, and everyday practices that matter in professional settings, as well as how to prepare for working life.

A similar program was held at SMK Yayasan Pharmasi Semarang to broaden the initiative’s benefits for students near the company’s operating area. Through these activities, students received health education and practical insights that could help them prepare for their futures.

“Ruang Aksi Kimia Farma 2026” was part of the Kimia Farma 55th anniversary TJSL program, emphasizing collaboration to benefit communities. Kimia Farma Mengajar contributes to Sustainable Development Goal 4 on Quality Education while fostering health literacy among the younger generation.

Through its participation, Phapros affirmed its commitment to providing positive contributions to society, particularly through education that enhances young people’s knowledge and preparedness. The company hopes students will continue learning, discovering their strengths, protecting their health, and planning confidently for the future.
