Collaborating with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) in Semarang, PT Phapros Tbk held a blood donation event.

PKBL (Community Partnership and Environmental Development Program) of PT Phapros Tbk, in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) of Semarang City, held a blood donation activity at the Phapros office located on Jl Imam Bonjol Semarang on Tuesday (12/10/21) and in Simongan on Monday (18/10/21). This blood donation activity is the second phase of the donation program that has been conducted throughout 2021.

This routine blood donation activity is a manifestation of concern for the health of employees as donors and also contributes to the availability of blood supply at PMI Semarang. The implementation of blood donation still prioritizes health protocols with a call system by section via telephone and adhering to mask usage and social distancing among donors. The employees who became donors appeared enthusiastic about the activity. A total of 129 bags of blood were obtained from the blood donation process. In addition to regular blood donation, PMI Semarang also took plasma. From the blood testing results, 7 people passed the test to become "Convalescent Plasma" products.

This blood donation activity is expected to help PMI Semarang to supply blood stock availability that can be utilized by the community in need.
